The Ring, The Invite Jumpoff & A Vent

Zeen as always, rules. It's beautiful and elegant and just what I would have picked. And it fits perfectly. Now to get his ring. The invite jumpoff took place yesterday at my crib. It was long and hard but they came out super awesome and each one is completely different which I love. I had the best team working with me lead by the whipcrackin Vic and the ever fly IS with an assist from The Fabulous A who drifted downstairs to get in on the fun. Go here for pics. My mom and sister along with my cousins who are BMs along with my sister came thru and rounded out the festivities along with another Max, WildKat, & T.


Fun was had by all so I thought which brings me to my vent.


My Moms calls me today sayin how she feels left out of the planning process and how she feels that Vic is usurping her MOB role. I'm like what? If you wanted to have imput you could have gone ahead and done so. I didn't know I had to invite you to be involved in the process. Then she brings up some friend of hers daughter's wedding. I shut it down saying I'm not so and so nor am I so and so's daughter. She says she felt insulted when she spoke to Vic about my shower and Vic thanked her for coming out to the invite jumpoff. She said she felt like who is she to thank her for coming out to do something for her own child.

I was like if you feel like she was overstepping (which she isn't) you need to handle that with her. I will have no parts of this whole thing. I was like you need to call her and handle that. I was like for you to come at me with this with 3 mos left while I'm flippin out is just wow. Then she tries the victim role and was like well I'm not going to say anything else because you are getting hyper.

I was like naw. I am speaking my piece in response to you speaking yours. If you want imput go on and give it I won't turn you away. Seriously ya'll? WTH?! I gave her Vic's digits and said have at it. I'm not gettin involved in this.

I'm getting mad again just thinking about it. Of course this all jumps off in the cube farm so you know all these noisy MFs in here were in the biz. I've already gotten the is everything ok inquiry. My mind ya neck face deaded any more questions. I thought I could go thru this process with no effin crap. Who am I kidding? I knew there would be something. ARGH!
