I as I have been informed, I didn't write about my girl Tash's visit to NY. I've been meaning to but like I said my thoughts are all over the place. So here goes....

I finally met Tasha last weekend. She came in to town to do some chillin and we finally met up! Now mind you, I speak to her just about everyday and have for the last 5 years and we met for the first time last week. Ah, technology. Lemme give some background. We met thru our mutual love of Maxwell back in 99 in the Auraqual chat room. We had a crew that would meet in there everyday and run our mouths about whatever. After awhile, we started leaking out our real names and confiding in each other about our lives and stuff.

Eventually, Auraqual got swallowed up by whatever conglomerate Maxwell records for and it was hard to stay in touch. However, me and Tash stayed cool and got our IM on. And it has evolved into a true friendship. She's easily one of the smartest and funniest people I know and I'm so happy we finally have met up face to face. She's really pretty and has really nice hair. I knew she would be shorter than me. I don't know why but I just knew.

I remember feeling both nervous and excited because you know I'm 98% lard in comparison to what I looked like when we posted our pix up on Auraqual back in the day. I wanted to make a good first impression and show her a good time. I did some slapped together clean up work at the crib and made sure my hair was clean so I wouldn't be both fat and greasy haired.

In the end it didn't even matter, cause when we got together it was just like we were on the phone or on IM. I really had a ball showing her Brooklyn and tryin to get her to eat & shop. LOL! I can't wait till she comes back in November for the Zulu Nation party. Oh did I mention that I'm down by law with The Cold Crush Brothers? All courtesy of Tasha.
