Crap & Cheesy Crap

Go here to see why Maureen Dowd of The New York Times rules. It hit me just now that Bush Administration is run just like most corporations in the way that it rewards ineptitude and unprofessionalism placing actual skill on the curb. Which is just frikken great.

Anyhoo, I did in fact get to go with Vic & The Earlster to the bridal deally at the BK Marriot. It was unfortunately a presentation by The Pros. Who just happen to be one of those event combo outlets that provide DJs, photographers, & videographers for whatever event you may be having. The spiel in this case was for our weddings. Cheesy does not even begin to describe the presentation.. It wasn’t even cheese, it was processed cheese product. They showed us examples of their photography and videography, which for the most part neither I, Vic or Earl for that matter were impressed with. There was an introduction to the team worthy of an NBA game.

(I’m interrupting this post to say that I can’t for the life of me figure out where my company finds this bunch of nutbags who work here. Social misfits, wackos, & pompous nerds; You name it, we’ve got it……Now back to the post)

So the team comes running out and they have a whole choreographed thing with dancing and whatnot. The first thing I think is damn I don’t think these guys wanted to do this when they grew up and how much did they sell their souls to the devils for? The other thought was damn all those weddings have made these cats fat as hell and what is the deal with their suits? Not one fits, not one.

I’ll just wrap this up and say that there was electric sliding, conga lining, fake leis, plastic hats and YMCA dance. Oh and there was wine! That was the good part, well only partially because the wine was rotgut. Will I be using The Pros? That’s a big hell no.

Later.......
