I went to see Munich I guess you can say yesterday since it's like after 1 am now. I was struck by all of the back and forth between Israelis and Palestinians. All of the retaliatory posturing and most of all the killing.
They've been doing this dance forever. The Palestinians throw rocks, the Israel's throw grenades. The Palestinians kidnap a bunch of athletes and kill them, the Israel's send hitmen out to get the guilty parties. On and on and around and round they go.
The bodies stack up. The blood flows. Buildings blow up. Women are made widows. Children are made orphans. Men are forced to become something they should never be.
All over a strip of land. Each side swears they're right. Back and forth. A bombing here, an assassination there. They move up 3 and step back 5.
All of this and nobody ever wins.
When will they learn?
