Or suffering through yet another heatwave in NY. Before I start complaining, I have to say that yes I know I've neglected my wee site here. But a girl has been busy. I've been going to weddings and attending shitty Sorority conferences over the last few weeks. So my bad.
Anyhoo, the city smells like a sewer. It's friggin hot and I'm over it. I have yet to catch up on the sleep that I missed out on while I was in Florida for my Sorority's international conference. I'm a drowsy wet cat right now and I'd like nothing better than to leave and go home and get that sleep I'm missing.
In a bit of Sad news, my Tashie, lost her Grandma last week. She's been writing some amazing stuff in her blog about her. Check this out. It's a beautiful piece of writing that is eloquent & moving. It also put things in prospective. It makes me think of losing my own Granny 6 years ago. I'd rather not dwell on it because I still miss her every day and ...... I won't go further because it makes me tear up. So I'll just say Tashie, I feel you. I really do.
In better news, me & the Zeen have booked our Greek honeymoon! Woot! We're going to Athens, Mykonos, & Santorini for 12 days of honeymoon bliss in September! I can't effin wait. I'm totally blowing out my vacation days for this year and probably for next year as well, but I don't even care. It's worth it. 12 days! I haven't had a vacation that long in eons! *Sigh* It's gonna be so nice.
I guess I'll wrap this up and head back to the salt mines.
